\norder at 7:00 pm on Tuesday January 24, 2012 in the Village Council

Mayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n

\nSCOUTEN
\nRESOLVED that the minutes of the regular meeting of Council held on
\nJanuary 10, 2012 be adopted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nSCHNEIDER
\nOFFENBERGER
\nRESOLVED that the agenda for the meeting held on January 24, 2012
\nbe adopted as amended.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED that the January Maintenance report be accepted as
\npresented by the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor.

\nRESOLVED that we make the following transfers of funds as per
\nbudget:
\n1. from general reserve fund to G.O.F. $7,911.79
\n2. from Utility Reserve Fund to G.O.F. $20, 128.89

\nRESOLVED that Bill Woytkiw be authorized to attend the Workplace
\nSafety & Health Training Workshops in Minitonas, MB on Wednesday,
\nFebruary 1, and Friday, February 3, 2012; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that expenses be authorized for payment.

\nRESOLVED that the January Animal Control Report be accepted as
\npresented by the Animal Control Officer.

\nRESOLVED that the year 2011 be the designated year with regards to
\nthe Village of Benito Tax Sale; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT all properties with taxes owning for
\nany portion of the year 2010 or prior shall be offered for sale by public
\nauction to be held at 10:00 a.m. on November 6, 2012 in order to
\nrecover tax arrears and all associated costs; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Taxervice is hereby authorized to
\nconduct the 2012 Tax Sale on Behalf of the Village of Benito.

\nRESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve the 2012 Budget as
\npresented by the Swan Valley Emergency Measures District; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annual support of $1211.00 be
\nauthorized for payment.

\nRESOLVED that members of Council and the Chief Administrative
\nOfficer be authorized to attend the G-7 Meeting in Minitonas on
\nMonday February 6, 2012; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that mileage and expenses be authorized
\nfor payment.

\nRESOLVED that the Village of Benito transfer $100.00 from the
\nGeneral Operating Fund to the Recreation Trust Fund.

\nRESOLVED that the Regular Meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday
\nFebruary 28, 2012 be hereby cancelled.

\nRESOLVED that the Chief Administrative Officer and Office Clerk be
\nauthorized to attend the training offered by Munisoft in Minitonas on
\nFebruary 11, 2012; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that registration; overtime wage and
\nexpenses be authorized for payment.

\n4. Public School Finance Board Education
\nSupport Levy $1004.86
\n5. Swan Valley School Division
