RESOLVED that the Agenda for the December 6th, 2011 meeting of Council be received.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>2.\tRESOLVED that the minutes of the November 15th, 2011 regular meeting of Council be adopted as received.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>3.\tRESOLVED that the quotation for a Schulte SDX-117 Snow Blower received from Nykolaishen  Farm Equipment of Swan River, MB and as outlined on Schedule \u201cA\u201d attached be accepted.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>4.\tRESOLVED that the November, 2011 Protective Services Report be received.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>5.\tRESOLVED that Mohinder Singh\u2019s Offer to purchase the 1981 Ford 800 Fire Truck, for the sum of $3,000.00 be accepted.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>6.\tRESOLVED that the Handi Van Report for November  2011 be received.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>7.\tRESOLVED that the Superintendent of Works and Building Inspection Reports be received.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>8.\tRESOLVED that the accounts as follows be hereby approved for payment:<br \/>\n(1) General Accounts from Cheque No. 10593 to No. 10710 for a total of $232,083.63.<br \/>\n(2) Payroll Accounts from Cheque No. 2741 t0 No. 2751 for a total of $168,914.59.<br \/>\nCarried: <\/p>\n<p>9.\tRESOLVED that the following Building Permit Applications be received:<br \/>\n91\/11 ~ 109 3rd St S ~ Wooden Shed<br \/>\n92\/11 ~ 614 Main St ~ Addition<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>10.\tWHEREAS the Town of Swan River has indicated an interest in participating in the Product Care Association household hazardous waste stewardship plan as a full service collection depot operator;<br \/>\nAND WHEREAS Product Care Association is contacting prospective Household Hazardous Waste Collection Depot Operators to see if they would be interested in participating in this plan;<br \/>\nNOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Engineering Department be authorized to submit an Expression of Interest in Establishing a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Depot Site at the Swan River Waste Disposal Grounds.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>11.\tRESOLVED that Council authorize the firm of Taxervice to conduct the 2012 Property Tax Sale as per their letter November 23rd, 2011.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>12.\tRESOLVED that the 2012 Tax Sale be held at 2:00 P.M., September 19th, 2012, that 2011 be the designated year, as the year for which properties, the taxes in respect of which are in arrears for the year, be offered for sale by auction to recover the tax arrears and cost.<br \/>\nAND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town of Swan River place a reserve bid on all properties up to the amount of arrears and costs.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>13.\tRESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 152(3) of The Municipal Act, Council go into Committee and close the meeting to the public.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>14.\tRESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 152(4) of The Municipal Act, this meeting be re-opened to the public.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>15.
