On October 15, 2011 at about 2:00 p.m. Swan River RCMP executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant at a residence near Birch River in the RM of Mountain, Manitoba.<\/br>

Investigators discovered a number of marihuana plants, processed marihuana, and growing equipment at the home. <\/p>\n

The estimated street value of the seizure is approximately $50,000.00<\/br>
\n<\/br>
\nTwo adults were arrested at the residence, 52 year old Wayne Edward Cordon, and 43 year old Phyllis Bella Genaille. Both have been charged with Production of a Controlled Substance, and Trafficking of a Controlled Substance.<\/p>\n

The accused have been released from custody, and are scheduled to appear in Swan River Provincial Court on November 2, 2011.<\/p>\n
