A Conditional Use Hearing was held on September 26, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bowsman Council Chambers to hear representation for or against the following application:<\/br>

\nApplication by Norman Gellert to allow for residential yard site with \texisting buildings being subdivided from the original 134.78 acres in
\nPt. NE \t2-38-27W.<\/p>\n
Present were Mayor Leanne Hutman and Councillors Daphne Currie, Joyce Readman and Courtney Densen. Councillor Garry McFadyen was absent.<\/p>\n
There being no persons present who wished to speak at the hearing, the Conditional Use Hearing was adjourned.<\/p>\n
Council reconvened immediately following the Hearing to conduct their regular meeting of Council. <\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED THAT the minutes of the July 20, 2011 regular meeting of council be adopted as presented.

\nWHEREAS a \u201cBULL-A-RAMA\u201d fundraiser is being held at the Bowsman Skating Arena October 14, 2011;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Village of Bowsman declares the \u201cBULL-A-RAMA\u201d fundraiser a Village Event.

107.\tJoyce Readman, Courtney Densen;
\nWEREAS the Planning Office requires consent from the Village of Bowsman to proceed with a subdivision in which the driveway crosses over the old railway bed;
\nAND WHEREAS there will be no change in the use of the access;
\nTHERFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the CAO be authorized to send a letter consenting to the said driveway crossing over the old railway bed which belongs to the Village of Bowsman.

\nRESOLVED that one member of council be authorized to attend the AMM Education workshop \u201cMedia Relations 101\u201d on Friday October 7, 2011 in Portage la Prairie.

\nRESOLVED THAT the Swan Valley Municipal Airport Commission Financial Statements for year ended December 31, 2010 be accepted as presented.

\nRESOLVED THAT the Village of Bowsman set a reserve bid in the amount of tax arrears and costs with respect to each property not redeemed from the Tax Sale to be held November 5, 2011 by public auction.

\nRESOLVED THAT the assessment changes as listed by Manitoba Local Government \u2013 Assessment Services be approved by the Village of Bowsman Council as per details attached hereto;
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the necessary changes be made to the 2011 Assessment Roll under the authority of Sections 300(6) and 326 of The Municipal Act.

\nRESOLVED THAT RESOLVED THAT the Mayor & Council shall sit as a Board of Revision for the 2012 Assessment Rolls for the Village of Bowsman on October 19, 2011 at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers at the Bowsman Municipal Office;
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT all members of council shall be appointed as members of the Board of Revision, that Mayor \u2013 Leanne Hutman shall be appointed as the Chairperson, and that CAO \u2013 Patti Simpson shall be appointed as the Recording Secretary to hear appeals to the real property, personal property and business property assessment rolls for 2012.

\nWHEREAS Norman Gellert has submitted an Application for Conditional Use under the Village of Bowsman Zoning By-law # 04\/2004 to allow for residential yard site with existing buildings being subdivided from the original 134.78 acres in Pt. NE 2-38-27W;
\nAND WEREAS no objections have been received for the proposed conditional use;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council in meeting duly assembled hereby approve said Conditional Use application.

\nRESOLVED that all members of Council and the CAO be authorized to attend the G7 meeting in Benito October 3, 2011.
