\"\"The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor McKenzie presiding and Councillors Bobick, Friesen, Scales, Jacobson and Delaurier present. Councillor Sakal was absent. <\/p>\n

Minutes:<\/p>\n

1. RESOLVED that the minutes of the August 11th, 2011 special meeting of Council be adopted as received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

2. RESOLVED that the Agenda for the August 16th, 2011 meeting of Council be received as amended.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

3. RESOLVED that the Town of Swan River purchase a 1\/18 page ad in the Snoriders Fall and Winter editions for a cost of $377 for each issue.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

4. RESOLVED that the Town of Swan River purchase a \u00bd page ad in the Swan Valley & Area Recreation & Leisure Guide for the sum of $165.00 plus tax.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

5. RESOLVED that Council accept the Audit Proposal of Pacak Kowal Hardie & Company for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 as per their letter dated August 3, 2011.

6. RESOLVED that the Town of Swan River accept the estimate of $8,800.00 from TBT Eng. Consulting Group of Winnipeg, MB for a Geotechnical Investigation of the Heyes and 6th Avenue North lift stations.

7. RESOLVED that the Handi Van Report for July 2011 be received.

8. RESOLVED that the Shared Services Agreement with the RM of Swan River be extended to include the years 2010 and 2011.

9. RESOLVED that the accounts as follows be hereby approved for payment:

\nPayroll Account from Cheque No. 2679 to No. 2686 for a total of $94,943.41.

RESOLVED that the Personnel Committee be authorized to sign Memorandum of Settlement between The Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 851 and The Town of Swan River reflecting the entire agreement changes and undertakings for a renewal and revision of the Collective Agreement dated the 23rd day of July 2008.
