One of the suspects jumped off the ATV and ran after the victim with a machete, striking him in the head with it. While the victim wrestled with the first suspect, the second suspect tried at one point to run him over with the ATV.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was able to escape and ran to safety. He was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Both suspects were located at their separate residences and arrested without incident. A machete was also recovered from one of the homes.<\/p>\n<p>Enriquo Bourassa, 19, is charged with:<br \/>\nAggravated assault; and<br \/>\nPossession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Heath Cook, 19, is charged with aggravated assault.<\/p>\n<p>Both were remanded into custody.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RCMP Media Release On June 19, at approximately 1:55 a.m., Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a male being attacked with a machete on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.
