The Swan River Curling Club was buzzing with activity on Boxing Day as families and friends gathered for the annual Family and Friends Funspiel. A total of 12 teams took to the ice, featuring curlers of all ages\u2014from enthusiastic juniors to seasoned seniors, and everyone in between\u2014eager to get moving after the Christmas festivities.<\/p>\n

Teams played two four-end games, keeping the competition light, fun, and fast-paced. Between games, participants enjoyed a relaxed lunch upstairs, sharing laughs and catching up with friends and family.<\/p>\n

The event was a great way to stay active, enjoy the sport of curling, and celebrate the holiday season together. By day\u2019s end, it was clear the funspiel lived up to its name\u2014a fun day was truly had by all.<\/p>\n
