The Swan River Curling Club hosted a Come Try Curling night on Wednesday, November 5th, welcoming about 20 curlers of all ages to the ice. Participants had the chance to learn the basics, throw some rocks, and experience what makes curling such an enjoyable and social sport.<\/p>\n

A big thank-you goes out to our volunteer instructors for their time, patience, and enthusiasm in helping everyone get started.<\/p>\n

If you missed the event but still want to give curling a try, we encourage you to join the Icebreakers League, held every Wednesday from 6:30\u20138:00 p.m. at the Swan River Curling Club. The league offers two different six-week sessions, one before Christmas and one after Christmas designed for curlers of all ages and abilities. It is a perfect opportunity to learn more about the game, stay active, and have fun with friends and family!
