\"\"On October 29, 2025, at approximately 12:30 am, Swan River RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Main Street on a truck with three female occupants.<\/p>\n

While the officer was speaking with the driver, open liquor was clearly visible inside the vehicle. The 34-year-old driver was arrested under the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Control Act.<\/p>\n

Two female passengers, aged 34 and 48 were asked to exit the vehicle while officers completed a subsequent search of the vehicle. While this was being conducted, the driver became belligerent with officers and needed to be placed in the back of a patrol vehicle.<\/p>\n

\"\"During the search, officers located a zip lock bag that contained over 250 g of methamphetamine. The community street value of the drugs is estimated to be between $15,000 and $25,000.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old driver was charged with the following:<\/p>\n

Trafficking
\nAssault on police officer
\nResist\/obstruct peace officer<\/p>\n

The 48-year-old was also charged with Trafficking. Both were released with a future court date.<\/p>\n
