Sometime overnight a break-in had occurred and power tools and other items were stolen.<br \/>\n<\/br><br \/>\nLater that day officers attended a residence in Minitonas, attempting to arrest a suspect responsible for other property crime offences. The male suspect came to the door and while officers were placing him under arrest they noticed power tools and other items that were associated to the break-in at the arena. Further investigation linked the 17-year-old male to multiple other property crime investigations.<\/p>\n<p>On March 13, 2024, while the male was being transferred from RCMP custody he attempted to flee out a door, but was caught immediately.<\/p>\n<p>The 17-year-old male has been charged with:<br \/>\nEscape Lawful Custody<br \/>\nPossession of Property Obtained by Crime<br \/>\nMischief x2<br \/>\nTheft x2<br \/>\nBreak and Enter<\/p>\n<p>He was remanded into custody.
