It is a day to draw attention to those lost to overdoses and tainted drugs.<\/p>\n<p>Purple has long been used as the colour to represent lives lost to the growing global crisis. Now, the empty chairs will stand in those peoples\u2019 places.<\/p>\n<p>In Swan River there is an empty purple chair on 9th Ave and another on Duncan Cres.
