\nWHEREAS the Municipality of Swan Valley West provided ratepayers with an option to “attend” council meetings via teleconferencing during the lockdowns mandated by the Province of Manitoba;
\nAND WHEREAS that option has been available to ratepayers following the mandates being lifted;
\nAND WHEREAS the participation by ratepayers has declined to near zero in recent months;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the municipality will no longer be providing this option in response to the decline in participation that does not justify the significant costs for the service.
