5.4 Zoning By-Law Amendment

\nWHEREAS Council for the Municipality would like to change the use of a Municipal owned property, and reviewed the Rural Municipality of Swan River Zoning By-Law No 2383-04; and
\nWHEREAS Administration was advised by the Province of Manitoba, Community and Regional Planning Branch to amendsaid zoning By-Law to accommodate Council’s request. Specifically, to amend the Residential Rural Use and Residential Bulk Table; and
\nWHEREAS The Planning Act states that: Amending zoning by-law 80(1) An amendment to a zoning by-law may be initiated by (a) the board or council;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Zoning By-Law amendment process shall be prepared as advised as well as in accordance with The Planning Act.
