The Board reviewed the Bowsman School fiber optic break situation.<br \/>\n2. Mandatory Covid Testing numbers were assessed by the Board. The Board was informed of Covid case numbers within our schools.<br \/>\n3. Northern Lights Institute of Trades and Technology Activities were considered.<br \/>\n4. An update on the Teacher Idea Fund was discussed.<br \/>\n5. The Manitoba Public Health initiative to vaccinate\/test 12-18 year old students involved with sports and intramurals was considered.<br \/>\n6. Vaccination of 5-11 year-old children and the implications for SVSD schools was reviewed.<br \/>\n7. The Board extended congratulations to the Girls\u2019 Volleyball Team and Coaches on winning the Zone Championship.<br \/>\n8. Congratulations was also extended to the SVRSS Tigers Football Team and Coaches for winning the Provincial Championship.<\/p>\n<p>_________________________<\/p>\n<p>Minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held in the Division Office Board Room on November 22, 2021, commencing at 7:00 p.m. (unapproved)<br \/>\nThe following were present:<\/p>\n<p>Chair: G. Highmoor:<br \/>\nTHAT the Report on the TD Canada Trust Credit Card, 8.2, be received, and the credit limit be increased as outlined.<br \/>\nCARRIED <\/p>\n<p>R3 K. Highmoor, D. Burghart:<br \/>\nTHAT the Superintendent&#8217;s Verbal Report, 16.2.4, be received, and the recommendation to extend the term IT position to June 30, 2022, as an addition to the 2021\/22 Budget, be approved.<br \/>\nCARRIED <\/p>\n<p>R7 K.
