A loss of water pressure in the distribution system can compromise the safety of the water supply.<\/p>\n<p>A boil water advisory has been issued on May 18, 2021 for the following Swan Valley Communities:<\/p>\n<p>Birch River<br \/>\nBowsman<br \/>\nMafeking<br \/>\nMinitonas<br \/>\nSwan River <\/p>\n<p>Until further notice, all water used for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before it is used for:<br \/>\n&#8211; Drinking and ice making<br \/>\n&#8211; Preparing beverages, such as infant formula<br \/>\n&#8211; Preparing food, including washing fruits and vegetables<br \/>\n&#8211; Brushing teeth<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Province of Manitoba Boil Water Advisories | A power outage on May 17, 2021, led to a loss of water pressure in several distribution systems within the Swan Valley.
