\nRESOLVED THAT the Council is in favor of extending the Public Works casual contract position with Ashley Beals until May 18, 2021.

\nRESOLVED THAT the Council is in favor of extending the Public Works temporary position with Matt Wills until May 18, 2021.

\nWHEREAS the Bowsman Fire Department, having received formal notification of approval for the submission for the purchase of 4 MSA GI self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBAs) and supporting equipment from the Manitoba Protection Grant for the amount of $53,838.84;
\nAND WHEREAS the cost for 4 MSA GI self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBAs) and supporting equipment as provided by ABC Fire and Safety, being the sole provider in Manitoba is $57,094.33;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman hereby approves and authorizes the purchase of 4 MSA GI self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBAs) and supporting equipment, the difference between the equipment cost and grant approval amount is to be transferred from the Emergency Services Reserve.

\nRESOLVED THAT we do hereby request that the Swan Valley Municipal Airport Commission review the agreement, specifically how it is funded and the representation from each municipality.
