Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West, held in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, Manitoba this 26th day of January, 2021 at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, some members are attending by phone due to numbers allowed.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of Council held this 26nd day of January, 2021 shall be adopted as amended.

\nRESOLVED that the Minutes for the Regular Meeting, of Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West held on January 12th, 2021 shall be adopted as amended.

\nWHEREAS a letter has been received requesting financial assistance towards Swan River Lifeline, which provides a high-quality medical alert program benefiting residents throughout the Swan River Valley, and;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve financial support towards this program to help with the purchase of Lifeline equipment in the amount of $725.00.

\nRESOLVED that Council of Swan Valley West hereby approves payment in the amount of $4000.00, as requested from the Swan Valley Settlement Services, also known as North West Regional Immigrant Services Inc.

\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approved the following payments:
\nGeneral Cheques: #16666 to #16703 in the amount of $1,130.944.40
\nFor a Grand Total of $1,130.944.40

\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approved the following payments:

\nRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(4) of the Municipal Act, this meeting shall be re-opened to the public.

\nWHEREAS the provincially approved third party intake reviewer has dismissed Code of Conduct Complaints #1 & #2 based on being past the 30 day limit.
\nBe it resolved that council hereby accepts the decision to dismiss the said complaints.
