\u201cMen\u2019s Shed\u201d is Men Helping Men. Starting in 2007 there are now more than 2000 groups world wide. There is no pre-ordained structure to maintain the model of the group nationally and internationally. Each Men\u2019s Shed meets the needs of the local guys.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>A second informational meeting was held at Harley House on Thursday October 17, 2019 to do further planning towards the formation of a \u201cMan Shed\u201d for the Swan River area. <\/p>\n

The eight local men who attended felt that this is a worthwhile project. The group will meet at 2:30 pm Tuesday October 29, 2019 at Timberland to begin the work of obtaining a place to meet, determine the activities they would like to pursue and the funds to purchase equipment needed to carry these activities.<\/p>\n

<\/br>
\nU of M Professor Corey McKenzie described the Men Shed concept at a conference \u2013\u201c If you get a group of older guys around a table there\u2019s going to be a lot of awkwardness, but if you put those same guys around a broken lawn mower, they\u2019re going to start talking and working together.\u201d<\/p>\n
