One hundred people gathered at Temple Baptist on the evening of Saturday October 5, 2019 to enjoy the wonderful vocal talent of Jayme Giesbrecht from Winkler, MB. She was joined by band members Jonathan Alexiuk on keyboard and Jim Johnson on the drums, whose individual skills were both stellar. Jayme\u2019s powerful voice soared on soulful songs such as \u2018God Will Take Care of You\u2019 and \u2018Oh, Had I a Golden Thread\u2019.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The crowd enjoyed the jazz-infused soloing of the musicians which was included in several of the selections. Not only was the evening a musical treat, it was also spiritually uplifting as we were reminded that God is with us in every circumstance, through well-loved classics such as \u2018His Eye is on the Sparrow\u2019.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/br>In addition, worship leader Joan van der Linde from Morris, MB led in a time of corporate worship through song as voices were lifted in praise together.<\/p>\n

She challenged us to remember our identities as God\u2019s children, and shared a video clip of Nick Vijicic, a motivations speaker who was born without limbs. <\/p>\n

It was a powerful reminder to re-evaluate where we have placed our trust and value.

\nJayme closed the evening with more songs from her album, \u2018To Keep You From Falling\u2019, as well as giving us a sneak peek from her new album which is set to release in the Spring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
