In order to become a Canadian Ranger you must meet the following criteria:
\n– You must be 18 years old
\n– You must by physically and mentally capable of carrying out Canadian Ranger duties
\n– You must be a Canadian citizen, have a Social Insurance Number, and reside in Canada
\n– You must not have been convicted of a serious offence under the Criminal Code of Canada for which a pardon has not been granted, including firearms offences, violent crimes, drug-related offences, and other offences at the discretion of the Commanding Officer
\n– You must not be a member of any other sub-component of the Canadian Armed Forces or another national military or Coast Guard
\n– You must be knowledgeable and personally equipped to survive and efficiently operate on the land.<\/p>\n

Please don’t forget to bring
\n– Two pieces of ID, one photo (federal or provincial)
\n– Birth certificate for yourself (spouse and children if applicable)
\n– Marriage certificate, if applicable
\n– Social Insurance Number Card, or proof of
\n– Proof of previous Service ie. Service Number,if applicable
\n– Banking information ie. Void Cheque, bank account printout
\n– Address history, past 5 years
\n– Next of Kin addresses, phone numbers
\n– Employment history addresses, phone numbers
