After a long cold winter, everyone was anxious to get out and enjoy the company of neighbors and friends.  This was noted as when the doors opened at 4:30pm, the hall began to fill with people awaiting their meal anxiously.  At 5:00pm the buffet table was opened with a long line forming instantly and continuing to grow as time went on.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/swanriver.valleybiz.ca\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0281.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/swanriver.valleybiz.ca\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0281-475x356.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"IMG_0281\" width=\"475\" height=\"356\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-32429\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swanriver.valleybiz.ca\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0281-475x356.jpg 475w, https:\/\/swanriver.valleybiz.ca\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0281-228x170.jpg 228w, https:\/\/swanriver.valleybiz.ca\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0281-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/swanriver.valleybiz.ca\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0281.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The supper, hosted by the Cowan Community Ladies, consisted of turkey, ham, perogies, cabbage rolls and numerous salads, etc.  After the hearty supper, a wide selection of delicious homemade desserts were available for the choosing.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to all who supported our supper event by attending and to those who organized and assisted with meal preparations.
