Cartage Ltd.<br \/>\nC &#038; B Stirling Enterprises Ltd.<br \/>\nStrilkiwski Contracting Ltd.<br \/>\nTrisum Logging<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Tender be accepted from Cook Bros. Cartage Ltd.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>GLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nDAVID MINISH<br \/>\nWHEREAS Tenders have been received for the hauling and application of approximately 30,000 cu. yd. of traffic gravel upon gravel-surfaced roads in the Municipality of Swan Valley West from the following:<br \/>\nCampbell Construction Ltd.<br \/>\nCook Bros. Cartage Ltd.<br \/>\nC &#038; B Stirling Enterprises Ltd.<br \/>\nStrilkiwski Contracting Ltd.<br \/>\nTimberline Transport Ltd.<br \/>\nTrisum Logging<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Tender be accepted from Timberline Transport Ltd.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>BRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nIRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby accept the 2017 Unaudited Year-End Financial Statements;<br \/>\nAND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned Financial Statements be submitted to the Minister of Municipal Relations, in accordance with Subsection 183(2) of The Municipal Act.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>BRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Local Urban District of Benito wishes to continue as an LUD Committee;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West agrees to the continuation of the Local Urban District of Benito.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>DAVID MINISH<br \/>\nGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Committee for the Alpine Community Centre have requested the Municipality of Swan Valley West to assume ownership and responsibility for the former Alpine School on NE 34-32-29W;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Municipality agree to transfer the above property to the Municipality of Swan Valley West.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>CARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the Urban Animal Control Officers Report for the month of February 2018 shall be received, and that payment for said services shall be approved as submitted.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>DAVID MINISH<br \/>\nCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Benito LUD Committee held on February 26, 2018 shall be accepted as circulated.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>BRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the amount of $95,000.00 be transferred from the General Chequing Account to the Capital Bridge Improvement Reserve;<br \/>\nAND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $3,000.00 be transferred from the Bridge Replacement Reserve to the General Chequing Account.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>IRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nRESOLVED that a notice be placed in the Star &#038; Times in appreciation to the ratepayers and employees of the Municipality of Swan Valley West for their help, understanding and patience during the recent snow storms.
