\nWHEREAS the Water Treatment Plant has recently experienced performance problems in 2 of\u00a03 distribution pumps, potentially leaving the Town at risk of operating the distribution system under the required pressure regulations set by the province, and
\nWHEREAS the Town has recently\u00a0completed\u00a0an assessment on the Water Treatment Plant which highlight the replacement of the distribution pumps as “highest priority”, and
\nWHEREAS the Town has passed a 5 year capital plan which includes work on the Water Treatment plant as a result of the assessment performed in late 2017;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Works be authorized to tender for the water treatment plant distribution pump replacement project.\u00a0
