CAO Robin Wiebe was present and acted as secretary.
\nReeve \u2013 Marvin Kovachik absent with notice.<\/p>\n

The meeting was called to order at 10:17 A.M. by Deputy Reeve Connie Forbes, quorum being present.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Agenda for the December 13th, 2017 Regular Meeting of Council be adopted as amended.
\n CARRIED.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the regular meeting of Council held November 22nd, 2017 be adopted as amended, all requirements having been complied with.
\n CARRIED. <\/p>\n

DEPUTY REEVE FORBES DECLARED AN INTEREST AND LEFT THE MEETING, COUNCILLOR NADOLNEY ASSUMED THE CHAIR<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby accept and approve the Financial Statement for the month ending November 30th, 2017, as presented.

\nRESOLVED THAT Cheque Nos. 20171480 to 20171569 be approved for payment in the amount of $143,809.45, including 7,909.59 for Council Indemnities, as per By-Law 03\/16, and Direct Deposit Payroll in the amount of 8,939.35 as attached hereto as Schedule A.
\nAND FURTHER IT BE RESOLVED THAT the direct payment of 4,507.98 for Receiver General November 2017 be approved for payment.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby approve work orders #166\/17 to #167\/17 attached hereto.

\nWHEREAS Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held a public hearing December 13th, 2017 regarding Breach of By-Law 02\/06 Animal Control for S. Ames \u2013 unlicensed dogs;
\nAND WHEREAS
\nall representations and objections were heard and considered;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT
\nCouncil vary the charges as follows:
\nWaive the fine subject to the dogs being licensed by December 31, 2017
\n CARRIED. <\/p>\n

\nWHEREAS Fire Department Purchasing Policy states that all purchases of the Fire Department must be authorized by Council in advance;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain approve the purchase requests as presented by District Fire Chief Forbes.
