GLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nIRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of Council held this 30th day of November 2017 shall be adopted as circulated.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>2. TERRY NEELY<br \/>\nDAVID MINISH<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the Minutes for the Regular Meeting of November 14th and the Special Meeting of November 15th, 2017 of the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West shall be adopted as circulated.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>3. BRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nRESOLVED that By-Law No. 0069-17, being a By-Law of the Municipality of Swan Valley West \u201cto establish a ward system for the purpose of electing Municipal Officials\u201d shall be read a third time and passed this 30th day of November 2017.<br \/>\nRecorded Vote:<br \/>\nGlen Foster \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nTerry Neely \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nDavid Minish \u2013 no;<br \/>\nBrian Burick \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nCarrie Blosha \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nIrwin Steen \u2013 yes<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>4. CARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Benito LUD Committee held on November 21st, 2017 shall be accepted as circulated.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>5. IRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the signing authorities for the Municipality of Swan Valley West shall be amended, that all cheques, debt instruments, transfers and legal documents to be signed by:<br \/>\nEither one (1) of the following:<br \/>\nInterim Acting Chief Administrative Officer, Betty Nemetchek<br \/>\nOr Cheryle Zbirun or Patty Posnikoff<br \/>\nTogether with either one (1) of the following:<br \/>\nReeve William Galloway<br \/>\nOr Deputy Reeve Brian Burick.<br \/>\nCarried<\/p>\n<p>6. GLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nTERRY NEELY<br \/>\nRESOLVED that a Municipal Credit Card be authorized in the name of Betty Nemetchek, Interim-Acting Chief Administrative Officer, to use for Municipal purposes, and that the Municipal Credit Card in the name of Angela Mullin, Finance Officer, be cancelled and destroyed.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>7. TERRY NEELY<br \/>\nGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the following payments:<br \/>\nGeneral Cheque #13920 to #13972 in the amount of\t$118,765.80<br \/>\nPayroll Cheque #1749 to #1765 in the amount of              $25, 602.53<br \/>\nfor a Grand Total of\t$144,368.33<br \/>\nRecorded Vote:<br \/>\nBrian Burick \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nCarrie Blosha \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nIrwin Steen \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nDavid Minish \u2013 abstained;<br \/>\nTerry Neely \u2013 yes;<br \/>\nGlen Foster &#8211; yes<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>8. IRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Municipality of Swan Valley West is desirous of purchasing a replacement patrol for use in the municipality;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Transportation Committee release a tender to replace one of the machines.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>9. BRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nIRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nRESOLVED that Council does hereby accept the verbal reports regarding Council Committees and Communications as presented by the Members of Council.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>10. BRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nIRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(3) of The Municipal Act, the Council as a whole shall go in-camera and close the meeting to the public to discuss items as per the attached.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>11. GLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nDAVID MINISH<br \/>\nRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(4) of The Municipal Act, this meeting shall be re-opened to the public.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>12.\tTERRY NEELY<br \/>\nGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nRESOLVED that, in accordance with Clause 8.5 of By-Law No. 0002-15, the Council shall extend the curfew by up to one-half hour to complete discussions regarding employees and legal matters.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>13. BRIAN BURICK<br \/>\nIRWIN STEEN<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West have been made aware of certain employee issues;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council select three members to sit with employees regarding employee issues.<br \/>\nCarried.<\/p>\n<p>14.
