Parents and children came dressed in costume and enjoyed a hotdog lunch, penny auction full of wonderful prizes, a dance party and many fun activities including a photo booth, digging for buried treasure and Hulk wall smash, just to name a few.

In addition to the activities the children got to hang out with Spiderman and Belle and have their faces painted by Batgirl and Wonder Woman.

Despite all of our efforts and advocating to the provincial government, SELC has been waiting over a year to receive it’s government funded operating grant so we rely heavily on fundraisers to keep our doors open. We are very appreciative of all the local support and wish to thank the following people and organizations for their generous donations:

Minitonas Community Store

The Shop Minitonas Inc.

R.M. of Minitonas-Bowsman

Swan Valley Co-op

Extra Foods

Giant Tiger

Qwik Stop

Subway

Swan River Title Loans

Manitoba Preceptor Kappa

Minitonas Skating Club

Thunderhill Ski Club

CNC Farms

John & Diane Kichuk

Diane Rooks

Colombe Ives

Darlene Giesbrecht

SELC Parents

We would also like to thank our incredible Director Robyn Jacobs and the SELC Staff for their hard work and all of the student volunteers.
