Minutes of the Regular council meeting of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 in the R.M. of Mountain Council Chambers in Birch River, Manitoba.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby accept and approve the Financial Statement for the months ending January 31, February 28, March 31, April 30, May 31, June 30 and July 31, 2017 as presented.

\nRESOLVED THAT Cheque Nos. 20170983 to 20171052 be approved for payment in the amount of $74,895.16, including 756.97 for Council indemnities, as per By-Law 03\/16, and Direct Deposit Payroll in the amount of 4,293.50 as attached hereto as Schedule A.

\nWHEREAS the Intermountain Conservation District [IMCD] has completed the Integrated Watershed Management Plan for the East Duck Mountain-Sagemace Bay Watershed;
\nAND THAT the Municipalities of Ethelbert, Mossey River and Mountain share common interests, goals and objectives as identified in the Plan;
\nAND WHEREAS IMCD seeks the support of the three municipalities to implement the Plan;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby approve and fully support the formation of a Project Management Team that works towards the implementation of the integrated Watershed Management Plan.

\nSubject to the following additional Terms and Conditions

\nAND THAT the Reeve and CAO be authorized to sign on behalf of the Municipality.
