\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West, in accordance \twith Part 6 of the Planning Act, shall hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 12th, \t2017 at 8:00 pm in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, MB. for \tthe purpose of hearing receiving comments regarding the Variation Application \treceived regarding the property known as Lot 1, Plan 3236.

\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West, in accordance \twith Part 6 of the Planning Act, shall hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 12th, \t2017 at 8:15 pm in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, MB. for \tthe purpose of hearing receiving comments regarding the Variation Application \treceived regarding the property known as Lot 3, Plan 1094.

\nWHEREAS the members of council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West have \treviewed and approve the amendments made to the Benito Cemetery Policy of the \tformer Village of Benito;
\n THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby adopt the above noted policy as G-12 \u2013 Benito Cemetery Policy, for the Municipality of Swan Valley West.

\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby accept \tthe 2016 Audited Financial Statements of the Swan Valley Veterinary Services District.

\nRESOLVED that Resolution No. 7, Item No. 5.6 from the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of Council held this 22nd day of August, 2017 shall be tabled to a later date to allow council time for further investigation and consideration in order to make an informed and responsible decision.

\nRESOLVED that signage be installed to name the road leading to the Thunderhill Ski Lodge off of Road #173W \u201cJohn Cotton Drive\u201d, in honor of Mr. John Edwin Cotton.

\nWHEREAS a written request has been received for removal of items from the Benito & \tDurban Landfill Sites and said requests have been reviewed by the members of the \tLandfill Committee dated August 11, 2017 and;
\nWHEREAS the request was made in accordance with the new policy and the items \trequested have been deemed to be appropriate for recycling by the members of the \tLandfill Committee;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby approve the removal of said items and \tauthorize the landfill Committee Chairperson to sign the Request Forms and shall \tauthorize the Landfill Attendant to release said items as requested.

\nWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has agreed to allow \tbusinesses within the municipality to establish credit accounts through \twhich they \tmay charge landfill levies at the Swan River Landfill Site, and the application for said \tcredit includes approval from the municipality, and;
\nWHEREAS the required areas of the Credit Application received has been \tcompleted, reviewed by the Council, and found to be acceptable for the purpose \tunder which it has been submitted;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to approve the Credit \tApplication submitted by;
\nDwayne \/ Shelly Holinaty \u2013 Dated August 18th, 2017
\nAND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that CAO, Carolyn Gordon shall be authorized to sign \tsaid agreement on behalf of the Municipality of Swan Valley West.

\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the attendance of Reeve, William Galloway at the MMAA District 7 Meeting in Winnipeg or Brandon, MB. to be held on September 22nd, or September 15, 2017.
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all applicable expenses shall be paid in accordance \twith current municipal policies and by-laws.

\n\tFor a Grand Total of\t\t\t\t\t$106,352.78

\nRESOLVED that we do hereby accept the quote, received August 14th, 2017, from \tNorthern Lights Window Cleaning & Carpet Care for the cleaning of the light diffusers \tin the Swan Valley West Office;
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Officer shall be authorized to contact the \tabove to begin the work and sign any agreement on behalf of the Municipality.

\nWHEREAS council has advertised, reviewed and hired Stan Byblow for the position of \tRelief Equipment Operator;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to the terms of the contract \tprovided to council and authorize the Reeve to sign said contract on behalf of the \tMunicipality.
