Rural Animal control Officer\u2019s Report for the month of June, 2017<br \/>\n\t&#8211; Urban Animal Control Officer\u2019s Report for the month of June, 2017<br \/>\nAND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment for the above services shall be approved as submitted.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried:<\/p>\n<p>8.\tTERRY NEELY<br \/>\n\tDAVID MINISH<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Transportation Committee has forwarded a recommendation dated July 7th, 2017 to bring back the Spare Mower Operator for coverage as required;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the members of Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West do hereby agree to request that Gilbert Collinson be asked to return to the position of Spare Mower Operator until such time as the regular operator returns to work.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>9.\tCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\n\tTERRY NEELY<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Transportation Committee has reviewed the designated areas for response to ratepayer requests and have recommended a change in the boundaries of said areas in a resolution dated July 7th, 2017.<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the members of Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West do hereby agree to amend said boundaries as per the recommendation attached hereto.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>10.\tCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\n\tGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Transportation Committee has made a recommendation for changes in the management of the Municipal Landfill Sites dated July 7th, 2017 and;<br \/>\nWHEREAS the members of Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West do hereby agree to the aforesaid amendments as recommended;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following changes shall be approved by Council;<br \/>\n\t&#8211; SW \u00bc Section 4-36-27WPM, specifically to vary the minimum required front yard setback distance for an accessory use building in an AG Zone as per Table 4.1 of Zoning By-Law #2383-04, from One Hundred and Twenty-Five (125) feet to Forty (40) feet and;<br \/>\nWHEREAS Notice of the Public Hearing was posted and delivered to adjacent landowners in accordance with Part 6 of the Planning Act and the municipality has received no objections with respect to said variance;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the aforementioned variance as per the Application dated June 14th, 2017 and shall issue Variation Order No.2017-03 and;<br \/>\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Deputy Reeve and CAO shall be authorized to sign said Order on behalf of the Municipality.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>21.\tCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\n\tGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nWHEREAS Invitations for Quotes on Audit Services for the Fiscal Years 2016, 2017 and 2018 were advertised and two responses were received;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby accept the quote from MNP LLP Dated July 7th, 2017 and;<br \/>\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Permit on the property known as Lots 7\/8, Plan 1759 (Benito LUD) specifically to allow for the construction of Modular Home in a Residential General Zone, and;<br \/>\nWHEREAS notice of the Public Hearing was posted and delivered to adjacent landowners in accordance with Part 6 of the Planning Act and the municipality has not received any objections with respect to said Conditional Use Application;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the aforementioned conditional use request as per the Application dated June 15th, 2017, and shall issue Conditional Use Order No.2017-05 and;<br \/>\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Deputy Reeve and CAO shall be authorized to sign said Order on behalf of the Municipality.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>26.\tIRWIN STEEN<br \/>\n\tCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\nWHEREAS written resignation has been received from Urban Maintenance Labourer, Morgan Kushniryk;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby accept said resignation with regrets and shall advertise for the position immediately with a deadline for applications to be set for July 21st, 2017 at 4:00 pm. and;<br \/>\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of recommendation shall be provided by Council.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>27.\tDAVID MINISH<br \/>\n\tGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\nWHEREAS the 2017 Budget for the Benito Fire Department allowed for an increase in the payment made to members of the department;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to increase the hourly compensation paid to \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby accept the amended Gas Tax Report as presented and;<br \/>\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to make payment of Invoices No.0-10002800 and
