On June 6, 2017, the Swan Valley Inter-Agency, SV Community Mobilization and Swan Valley Communities That Care hosted their Annual General Meetings at the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Center. <\/p>\n

Jessica Lacasse presented a Power Point presentation highlighting the Community Mobilization activities. Lorri-Ann Munro and Jessica then shared news about Inter-Agency\u2019s new Facebook page. Check it out.<\/p>\n

Chair James Wigley showcased SVCTC\u2019s past activities and partnerships within the Valley with a Power Point presentation. This presentation also highlighted SVCTC\u2019s progress over the past year in bringing the Guiding Good Choices and Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) parent workshop programs to the Valley. The Life Skills Training program was also highlighted. Following that presentation, a brief business meeting was conducted. <\/p>\n

Communities That Care is a community\u2013wide initiative to promote positive, healthy development of children and youth. The goal is to develop healthy lifestyles for all children and youth by providing opportunities, skills, and recognition within families, schools, communities and peer-groups. A great lunch was provided by the Qwik Stop to the enjoyment of all that attended. <\/p>\n

SVCTC thanks all who attended this AGM meeting and looks forward to your support in promoting positive healthy opportunities for the youth of our Valley.<\/p>\n
