\n\tRESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on April 18th, 2017 and the Special Meeting of Council held on April 13th, 2017 shall be adopted as circulated.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the Staff Expense Reports as submitted.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to purchase Magnesium Chloride for Dust Control from Fort Distributors as per the attached details & quote, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT an ad be placed in the Start & Times with a deadline of May 31st, 2017 by which applications and payments must be submitted.

5.\tL. Hutman \u2013 S. Walmsley
\n\tWHEREAS the municipality has been awarded funding under the Growing Assurance-Farmland Beaver Control Program, and;
\n\tWHEREAS it is in the best interest of local producers to enter into an agreement with the Province of Manitoba to assist with the management of problem beavers on private lands within the municipality;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to the terms and conditions of the aforementioned agreement and authorize Reeve Eisner to sign said agreement on behalf of the municipality.

6.\tC. Densen \u2013 G. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS the Community & Regional Planning Branch has reviewed the application for subdivision of PT of SW \u00bc Sec. 19-36-26 WPM (IMMERKAR\/SCHROEDER) on behalf of the municipality and finds it to be in compliance with the Zoning By-Law for the RM of Minitonas; and
\n\tWHEREAS the application has been reviewed by the council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman, and found to be acceptable by the members of council;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the subdivision of the aforementioned parcel of land as per the details submitted to the Municipality by Manitoba Local Government, Community Planning services dated April 20th, 2017.

7.\tL. Mychalchuk \u2013 S. Walmsley
\n\tWHEREAS the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman advertised for quotes for maintenance services as the Minitonas Cemetery and the Centennial Park; and
\n\tWHEREAS a quote was received and has been reviewed by council;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby accept the quote received from TDCTurf for 2017 services as attached hereto.

8.\tG. Bartel \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the members of the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman are hereby appointed as \u2018Weed Inspectors\u2019 for the municipality, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT payment for expenses directly related to the costs of performing services for weed inspections will be made in accordance with the current municipal indemnity By-laws and policies.

9.\tL. Hutman \u2013 C. Densen
\n\tRESOLVED THAT all members of Council as well as the CAO and Assistant CAO shall be authorized to attend the G5 meeting in Swan River, MB on May 31st, 2017.
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all applicable expenses related to said meeting will be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-laws.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT attached list of ads shall be sent for printing in the May 9, 2017 edition of the Star & Times and also from May 8 to May 15, 2017 on Valley Biz.

11.\tJ. Caruk \u2013 C. Densen
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council shall make available applications for nominations for the \u2018Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Volunteer Award\u2019 beginning June 1st, 2017, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the deadline for submission shall be set at June 20th, 2017 and shall be presented at the July 1st \u2018Canada Day\u201d Pancake Breakfast.

12.\tC. Densen \u2013 L. Hutman
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council does hereby appoint Mel Edmonds to the Valley in the Mountains Tourism as a citizen rep for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
13.\tS. Walmsley \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED all members of Council as well as the CAO shall be authorized to attend the upcoming AMM District Meeting in The Pas, Manitoba June 13th, 2017.
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all applicable expenses related to said meeting will be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-Laws.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 10:35 p.m. to meet again on May 16th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of council.
