The meeting was called to order at 10:10 A.M. by Reeve Marvin Kovachik, quorum being present.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Agenda for the February 8th, 2017 Regular Meeting of Council be adopted as amended.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held January 25th, 2017 be adopted as presented, all requirements having been complied with.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 01-17, being a By-Law to provide for the participation in the Manitoba Mutual Aid System, be given second reading.

\nBE IT RESOVLED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby accept the invitation to extend the terms, conditions, and unit price of the Request for Proposal \u2013 2016 Gravelling (North) to 2017;
\nAND THAT the Reeve and CAO be authorized to sign on behalf of the municipality.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby accept the invitation to extend the terms, conditions, and unit price of the Request for Proposal \u2013 2016 Gravelling (South) to 2017;
\nAND THAT the Reeve and CAO be authorized to sign on behalf of the municipality.

\nWHEREAS Fire Department Purchasing Policy states that all purchases of the Fire Department must be authorized by Council in advance;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain approve the purchase requests as per Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto.

Councillor Forbes declared an interest for Res. No. 40\/17 and left the meeting.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED THAT Cheque Nos. 20170136 to 20170185 be approved for payment in the amount of $34,561.51, including $3,790.94 directly deposited to payees, attached hereto as Schedule \u2018A\u2019.
\nAND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT the direct payment amount of $4,379.29 for Receiver General January 2017 be approved for payment.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hold a Special Budget Meeting March 3rd, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby reschedule:
\nApril 12th Regular Meeting to April 5th, 2017;
\nApril 26th Regular Meeting to April 28th, 2017.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby approve work orders #008\/17 to #010\/17 attached hereto.

\nWHEREAS Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held a public hearing February 8th, 2017 regarding Animal Control complaints and Breach of By-Law for livestock being at large;
\nAND WHEREAS there were no representation and no objections, or all representations and objections were heard and considered;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council confirm the minimum fines as charged.

Councillor Nadolney joined the meeting via communication facility.<\/p>\n
Councillor Nadolney left the meeting.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby approve the invoice for payment from Ethelbert & District Veterinary Services as attached hereto in Schedule \u2018A\u2019.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby authorize the request of Manitoba High School Rodeo for a donation of sponsorship in the amount of $1,000.00.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Emergency Coordinator of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby be authorized to attend the EMO Regional Workshop Seminar in Dauphin, MB on February 28, 2017;

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Weed Inspector of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby be authorized to attend the Manitoba Weed Supervisors Association Seminar in Carberry, MB on March 22nd, 2017;

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Finance Officer of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby be authorized to attend the MMAA Conference and Annual General Meeting in Brandon, MB on April 23-26th, 2017;

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain approved the Duties, Responsibilities and Remuneration for the District Fire Chief for the Municipality as per Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached.
