When Lee Cryderman passed away suddenly on January 7, 2017, it did not take long for the community to come together to support the family.<\/p>\n

“Lee always said, ‘If anything ever happens to me, don’t worry people will help.'” said his wife Rita.

And help they did. <\/p>\n

One week after Lee’s passing family and community members volunteered to bring in the hay off the field. Starting just after lunch on Saturday, January 14, 2017 a group of men worked together to bring in almost 400 bales. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>When the work was complete, just before 5pm, everyone gathered inside for a meal that had been prepared by the ladies.<\/p>\n

It was important to Rita that the volunteers be recognized for their help and that people know that we live in community where people will still lend a helping hand.<\/p>\n

Volunteers were Scott & Krystle Walmsley, Stuart Walmsley, Murray & Murna Walmsley, Larry Mychalchuk, Todd Martin & Marcy Fulford, Les Emerson, Toby Cryderman, Tynan Metcalfe, Garry Clapham, Lloyd Clapham, Denise Thune and Bonnie Poss. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
