\nELECTION RESULTS<\/p>\n

PC Candidate Rick Wowchuk has been elected as the new MLA for the Swan River Constituency. <\/p>\n

Wowchuk will join Progressive Conservative leader Brian Pallister in the new Manitoba PC majority government.<\/p>\n

Provincially, the PC Party won 40 out of 57 seats, the NDP kept 14 and the Liberals took 3.<\/p>\n

Voter turnout for the Swan River Constituency was just over 63% with 7,268 out of 11,429 eligible voters casting their vote. The local results are below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
