Sons of the Pioneers Tickets: <\/br>Bring a non-perishable food donation for the local food bank.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Tickets available from Lana Graham in Swan River at 1-204-281-1003 or online at sonsofthepioneers.org\/Schedule<\/p>\n It is a full concert of their famous western songs and features also a Grand Master guest fiddler from Nashville, Tennessee…Justin Branum!<\/p>\n For over 80 years the Sons of the Pioneers have been recognized as \u201cthe world\u2019s premier cowboy singing group\u201d (as noted by American Cowboy magazine) starting with Roy Rogers in numerous movies, through major recording contracts and television shows and thousands of live performances all around the world. They have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, the Western Music Hall of Fame, the Texas Swing Hall of Fame and have their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their renditions of \u201cTumbling Tumbleweed\u201d and \u201cCool Water\u201d are in the Grammy Hall of Fame. The Smithsonian Institute designated them a ” National Treasure”. Last December, True West magazine has just named them 2015\u2019s \u201cBest of the West \u2013 Best Western Music Group\u201d. They won the award again this year!<\/p>\n One of the three founders of this famous American band was a Canadian from Winnipeg… Bob Nolan!
