Special Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West, held in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, Manitoba this 31st day of December, 2015 at 12:00 Noon.

\n\t\t– Transfer of Funds re: Capital Projects
\n\t\t– Municipal Article \u201cA Year in Review\u201d <\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Agenda for the Special Meeting of Council held this 31st day of December, 2015 shall be adopted as presented.

\nWHEREAS the 2015 Gravel Hauling Tender included a clause that allowed renewal of \tthe tender for one year at the same rate as awarded in 2015, and;
\nWHEREAS C&B Stirling Enterprises Ltd. have submitted a written request to extend \ttheir 2015 tender for one full year under the same terms and conditions for the 2016 \tGravel Season;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley \tWest does herby agree to accept the aforementioned offer and shall extend said \tcontract for Gravel Hauling Services by C&B Stirling Enterprises Ltd. and authorize the \tCAO to send written confirmation to the contractor of this one year extension.

\nWHEREAS the 2015 Gravel Crushing Tender included a clause that allowed renewal of \tthe tender for one year at the same rate as awarded in 2015, and;
\nWHEREAS Strilkiwski Contracting Ltd. have submitted a written request to extend \ttheir 2015 tender for one full year under the same terms and conditions for the 2016 \tGravel Season;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley \tWest does herby agree to accept the aforementioned offer and shall extend said \tcontract for Gravel Crushing Services by Strilkiwski Contracting Ltd. and authorize the \tCAO to send written confirmation to the contractor of this one year extension.

\nRESOLVED that the Council does hereby approve the transfer of $73,224.00 from the \tGas Tax Reserve Account to the General Chequing Account for the Municipality of \tSwan Valley West for the municipal share of the costs of the Capital Works Projects \tfor 2015 as included in the Financial Plan.

\nRESOLVED the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby agree to \tsubmit an article to the Star & Times and ValleyBiz outlining the \u20182015 Year in \tReview\u2019.
