Community Futures Parkland is now accepting applications for 2016 Community Projects Grants.<\/p>\n
The application deadline is March 31, 2016 Eligible applicants include:<\/strong> Eligible applicants are limited to the Parkland area.<\/p>\n This year will mark Community Futures\u2019 16th year of commitment to the Parkland region. During that time, $157,588.60 has been granted from CF Parkland to 75 regional and community initiatives throughout the region. <\/p>\n Community Futures Parkland believes in the power of communities and the individuals who live in them. We recognize that Parkland region holds vibrant communities with new ideas and proactive thinkers. <\/p>\n Our organization supports community development and one of the ways we strive to help create community prosperity is by investing in our communities. <\/p>\n

\nProgram Objective <\/strong>
\nThe 2016 Community Projects Grant is a competitive program intended to support ideas that fall under the categories of:
\n– Tourism
\n– Events
\n– Education (e.g. entrepreneurship, financial literacy)
\n– After School Programs (preferably linked with entrepreneurship, financial literacy)<\/p>\n
\n– Community Service Groups,
\n– Conservation Committees, Municipalities
\n– Economic Development Boards,
\n– Friendship Centers,
\n– Non-profit Community Development Groups,
\n– Schools, and
\n– Tourism Groups.<\/p>\n
