\nRESOLVED that Agenda Item No. 4.1 shall be tabled until the Council has had an opportunity \tto hear future presentation, and gathered further information, on the economic \tdevelopment program under Swan Valley RISE.

\nWHEREAS the committee selected to review submissions for a Logo for the newly \tamalgamated Municipality of Swan Valley West has thoroughly reviewed all submissions and \thas made a re-design of one of the entries submitted that they feel is modern and best \trepresents the newly amalgamated municipality, and;
\nWHEREAS the Council has taken time to consider the newly designed Logo and are in \tagreement that it truly represents the essence of the new municipality;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to approve the submission, a copy of \twhich is attached hereto, and shall adopt the same as the new Logo for the Municipality of \tSwan Valley West.

\nRESOLVED that the signage shall be ordered for the Municipal Office and the Equipment in \taccordance with Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto.

\nRESOLVED that the Rural Public Works Forman and 1 Councillor shall be approved to attend \tthe Beaver Damage Control Workshop to be held in Swan River on September 29th, 2015 and \tall applicable expenses shall be paid in accordance with current municipal policies and by-\tlaws.

\nRESOLVED that the attached list of Council Members & Interim-Acting CAO shall be approved \tto attend the 2015 AMM Convention to be held in Brandon, MB. On November 23rd to 25th, \t2015 and all applicable expenses shall be paid in accordance with current municipal policies \tand by-laws.

\nRESOLVED that the Interim-Acting CAO shall be appointed by the Council of the Municipality \tof Swan Valley West as the designated officer to bid on their behalf at the 2015 Tax Sale \tAuction to be held on October 15th, 2015.

\nRESOLVED that the Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the \trevision to the 2014 Audit Notes to include the Potten Drive debenture payments authorized \tunder By-Law No.2421\/11.

\nWHEREAS By-Law No. 2421\/11 was approved by Municipal Board Order No. E-11-089 \tauthorizing the borrowing of $122,572.82 from the Municipality\u2019s Federal Gas Tax Reserve \tfor a portion of the costs of paving Potten Drive, and;
\nWHEREAS debenture payments in the amount of $12,257.36 have been collected in \taccordance with the aforementioned by-law in each of the Fiscal Years 2011-2014 and \tbecame part of the RM of Swan River \u2018Annual Surplus\u2019 as opposed to being transferred to the \tFederal Gas Tax Reserve;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West does \thereby authorize the transfer of $49,029.44 from the municipality\u2019s General Chequing \tAccount to the Federal Gas Tax Reserve to ensure compliance with the aforementioned by-\tlaw.

\nWHEREAS the owners of PT N.E. \u00bc SEC.18-34-29WPM have made application to subdivide \tthis property, and;
\nWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed said application, \talong with the letter received from Community and Regional Planning dated September 11th, \t2015 and intend to follow the recommendations made by the Community and Regional \tPlanning Branch to discuss the access road required in order to move forward with approval \tof the proposed subdivision;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED we do hereby set the date of November 10th, 2015 at 6:00 pm at \twhich time the Council will meet with the applicants and local area landowners to discuss the \tdevelopment of a Public Road in order to provide the properties affected by the \taforementioned subdivision.

\n\tRESOLVED that all members of council and the Interim-Acting CAO shall be approved to \tattend the G-4 Meeting to be held in Cowan, MB. On October 5th, 2015 and all applicable \texpenses shall be paid in accordance with the current municipal policies and by-laws.

\nRESOLVED that in accordance with Sections 300 and326 of the Municipal Act, the changes to \tthe 2015 Assessment Roll for the Municipality of Swan Valley West shall be accepted by the \tCouncil and applied to that portion of the 2015 taxes as described on the attached reports \treceived from Manitoba Municipal Government-Assessment Services, Swan River Office \tdated September 9th, 2015.

\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby agree to \tpurchase a Culvert Gate from Grazier Custom Manufacturing Ltd. for $1,000.00 plus taxes as \tper the quote dated September 16th, 2015.

\nRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does herby agree to \tapprove the recommendation to hire Cober Contracting Inc. for the works described on MRIF \tProject No.2 and MRIF Project No.3 on the attached report.

\n\tRESOLVED that the Finance Clerk shall be authorized to attend the MEBP 2015 Seminar on \tBenefits Administration to be held in Brandon, MB. On Friday October 30th, 2015 and that all \tapplicable expenses shall be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-Laws.

\nthe Bank Reconciliation Report for the period ending August 31st, 2015, and the Financial \tStatement for the period ending September 21st, 2015 as presented.

With reference to agenda item No.6.3 dated September 22nd. 2015 regarding the re-opening of a portion of Rd#212N, Councillor Stan Potten, a member of council, disclosed a personal interest in the matter before council & withdrew from the meeting at 10:02 p.m.<\/p>\n
Councillor Potten returned to the meeting at 10:16 p.m.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED That the Municipality of Swan Valley West shall make a donation of $50.00 in \tlieu of flowers to the Community Foundation of Swan Valley to recognize the passing of \tEunice Szlachtycz who previously served on the council for the Village of Benito.

\nRESOLVED that in accordance with Clause 8.5 of By-Law No. 0002-15, the council shall \textend the curfew by up to one-half hour in order to complete discussions regarding \tCommittee Reports & HR discussions.
