Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015 in the R.M. of Mountain council chambers in Birch River, Manitoba.

The meeting was called to order at 10:01 A.M. by Reeve Marvin Kovachik, quorum being present.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the September 9th, 2015 Regular Meeting of Council be adopted as presented, all requirements having been complied with.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby adopt the Fee Schedule for accepting household waste from non-residents per Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby adopt the False Alarm Fire Response Policy as per Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby cancel taxes as per Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto.

\nWHEREAS Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain successfully applied to the Municipal Bridge Program for Phase 1 Preliminary Engineering & Design for the rehabilitation of Harapiak Bridge;
\nAND WHEREAS Phase 1 is now complete;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council budget for Phase 2 in 2016.
\n\t\t CARRIED. <\/p>\n

\nWHEREAS Fire Department Purchasing Policy states that all purchases of the Fire Department must be authorized by Council in advance;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the RM of Mountain approve the purchase requests as per Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby approve the Application for Licence to Construct Water Control Works as attached hereto in Schedule \u2018A\u2019 subject to approval of affected\/neighboring landowners.

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council and staff of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby be authorized to attend the G4 Regular Meeting in Cowan, MB on Monday, October 5th, 2015;

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby be authorized to attend the AMM Annual Convention in Brandon, MB from November 23rd \u2013 25th, 2015;

\nBE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby accept the offer to purchase Part Lot 6, Plan 236, Lot 1, Plan 1643 and Lot 1, Plan 1593; Pine River, MB [Roll #66300, 83100, 82100] from Gerald Trembach in the amount of $630.00 plus $515 legal and administration costs.
