\nRESOLVED that the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of Council held this 25th day of August, 2015 shall be adopted as amended.

\n\tRESOLVED that the Public Works Foreman\u2019s Report presented on August 25th, 2015 shall be \taccepted as received, a copy of which is attached hereto.

\n\tRESOLVED that the Council does hereby agree to purchase tires for the Ford Tractor from \tKalTire as per the quote attached hereto.

\n\tRESOLVED that the Urban Works Foreman\u2019s Report for the period ending July 31st, 2015 and \tthe report on Capital Projects received on August 25th, 2015 shall be accepted as received, \tcopies of which are attached hereto.

\n\tRESOLVED that we do hereby agree to purchase gravel for the Capital Project on the Main \tHaul Road under the MRIF Grant Program as per the quote attached hereto and the \tmunicipality will be responsible for the aggregate levy associated with said purchase.

\n\tCARRIE BLOSHA
\n\tRESOLVED that the attached list of equipment shall be approved for purchase for the Benito \tFire Department with the general operating budget for fire protection, proceeds from the \tsale of old fire equipment and up to $3800 to be transferred from the Rural Emergency \tServices Reserve.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried:<\/p>\n

\n\tRESOLVED that the attached quote from Contec Projects Ltd. shall be accepted for the \tUpgrades required at the Benito Water Treatment Plant, as well as the costs of the Vac Truck, \tMinor Electrical Works and any applicable taxes, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a transfer shall be made from the Benito Utility Reserve in the \tamount of $71,000.00 as included in the Municipality\u2019s 2015 Budget.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried:<\/p>\n

\n\tRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve \tthe application to the Province of Manitoba for a Drainage License for works to be done \talong the SE\u00bc of Section 14-36-27WPM as noted on the Landowner Agreement attached \thereto, \tand;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby authorize the Reeve and Interim-Acting CAO to \tsign said agreement on behalf of the Municipality.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried:<\/p>\n

\n\tRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does herby approve the \tapplication to the Province of Manitoba for a Drainage License for works to be done along \tthe NW\u00bc of Section 2-36-28WPM as noted on the Landowner Agreement attached hereto, \tand;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby authorize the Reeve and Interim-Acting CAO to \tsign said agreement on behalf of the Municipality.

\n\tRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby receive the \tattached Animal Control Reports for the month of July, 2015 and approve payment to the \tAnimal Control Officers as attached hereto.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried:<\/p>\n

\n\tTERRY NEELY
\n\tRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby declare the \tperiod from September 8th to September 11th, 2015 as \u201cHazardous Waste Days\u201d and shall \tarrange for a collection depot at the Benito Public Works Shop during this time.

\nWHEREAS the owners of PT SE\u00bc of Section 13-35-28WPM have made application to \tsubdivide this property, and;
\nWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed said application, \talong with the letter received from Community and Regional Planning dated August 11th, \t2015 and has no objections to the proposed subdivision;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby approve the subdivision of the \taforementioned property, provided all conditions outlined in the aforementioned letter have \tbeen met, and shall notify the Office of Manitoba Community and Regional Planning, \tDauphin in writing along with confirmation of the status of taxes.

\n\tWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed the application \tfor drainage works regarding the installation of a Tile Drainage System on the property \tknown as the W\u00bd of Section 26-36-29WPM and has no objections to the proposed project;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby approve the above noted application \tregarding the aforementioned property, provided proper controls are placed on the outlet \tinto the existing waterway to control the flow of water during the winter months, as required \tby the Province of Manitoba.

\n\tWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed the offers \treceived for surplus municipal property;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby approve the sale of said property as follows;
\n\t\t–\t1979 Ford Fire Truck & Apparatus will not be sold.
\n\t\t–\t1997 3-point Hitch & 7\u2019 Farm King Blade will be sold for $420.00 to
\n\t\t\tHank Tchir \u201cAs Is\u201d
\n\t\t–\t1988 JD Riding Mower with Cab & Snow Blower will be sold for
\n\t\t\t$2155.00 to Rick Hawryluk \u201cAs Is\u201d
\n\t\t–\t1988 JD Rotary Mower will be sold for $605.00 to Ray Wotton \u201cAs Is\u201d
\n\t\t–\t1986 Ford Garbage Compactor Truck (8 cyl) will not be sold<\/p>\n
\tAND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceeds from the above sales shall be receipted to \tthe Benito LUD as Miscellaneous Revenue.

\n\tRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(3) of the Municipal Act, the Council as a whole shall \tgo into camera and close the meeting to the public to discuss items 11.1 to 11.5 as noted on \tthe August 25, 2015 Agenda.

\n\tRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does herby approve the \tattendance of the Interim-Acting CAO at the MMAA \u2013 District 7 Meeting in Grandview and \tshall make payment of all expenses related to said attendance in accordance with all current \tMunicipal Policies and By-Laws.

\n\tPayroll Cheques #320 to #340 in the amount of $25,571.12
