their \t2014\/2015 Fiscal Year shall be hereby received.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>16.\tTERRY NEELY<br \/>\n\tBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS the owners of PT N.W. \u00bc SEC.36-36-28WMP have made application to subdivide \tthe property and have been granted Conditional Approval by Manitoba Municipal \tGovernment, Community Planning Branch in Dauphin, and;<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed said application, \talong with the letter received from Community and Regional Planning dated July 22nd, 2015 \tand has no objections to the proposed subdivision;<br \/>\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED we do hereby approve the subdivision of the aforementioned \tproperty, provided the requirements and conditions set out in the above noted letter from \tManitoba Community and Regional Planning, Dauphin are met.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>17.\tCARIE BLOSHA<br \/>\n\tBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS the Benito LUD Committee has reviewed the applications submitted for the \tposition of Part-Time PW Labourer for Benito and chose their preferred candidate for this \tposition as shown on the copy of Resolution No. 5 dated July 21st, 2015, a copy of which is \tattached hereto, and;<br \/>\nWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West accepts said recommendation \tas submitted;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Morgan Kushniryk shall be appointed to the position of \tPart-Time Urban Public Works Labourer under the terms and conditions outlined in the \tEmployment Offer attached hereto, with a start date of September 1st, 2015 (or as \tdetermined by the Urban Foreman) and upon completion of his duties as Summer Student.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>18.\tTERRY NELLY<br \/>\n\tDAVID MINISH<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS the Benito Office Manager has submitted the attached recommendation for \tcleaning the Benito Municipal Office, and;<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West accepts said recommendation \tas submitted;<br \/>\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Allison Sommerville shall be hired for the Part-Time Position \tas outlined on the aforementioned recommendation attached hereto from July 28th, 2015 to \tDecember 31st, 2015 under the terms and conditions on the contract offer attached hereto.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>19.\tCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\n\tBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\n\t WHEREAS the Benito LUD Committee has submitted the attached proposal for the Benito \tDisc Golf Course, and;<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West accepts said proposal as \tsubmitted;<br \/>\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that an outdoor washroom facility and signage shall be \tpurchased as noted on the attached proposal and any future costs for cleaning and \tmaintenance shall be included in future budgets under the Benito LUD\u2019s costs for Recreation \tand Cultural Services.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>20.\tSTAN POTTEN<br \/>\n\tTERRY NEELY<br \/>\n\tRESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approved \tthe following payments:<br \/>\n\tGeneral Cheques #11516 to #11522 for a total of $26,007.35<br \/>\n\tGeneral Cheques #11523 to #11557 for a total of $153,526.32<br \/>\n\tPayroll Cheques #269 to #288 for a total of $23,400.14<br \/>\n\tFor a Grand Total of $202,933.81<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>21.\tBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\n\tCARRIE BLOSHA<br \/>\n\tRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(3) of the Municipal Act, the Council as a whole shall \tgo into camera and close the meeting to the public to discuss Pending Legal Issues, a Tax \tReduction Request, Town of Swan River Shared Services, Benito Property Concerns, and \tEmployee Concerns.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>22.\tGLEN FOSTER<br \/>\n\tTERRY NEELY<br \/>\n\tRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(4) of the Municipal Act, this meeting shall be re-\topened to the public.<br \/>\nCarried:<\/p>\n<p>23.\tSTAN POTTEN<br \/>\n\tBRIAN BURICK<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West passed the attached \tresolution on June 9th, 2015, and;<br \/>\n\tWHEREAS there may be an alternate route that is more cost effective for the completion of \tthe project and said route may not pose a risk to municipal infrastructure;<br \/>\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to a temporary trial period for 3 days \tduring which time the alternate route will be used by Nelson River Construction Inc. for up to \tone half of their trucks as follows;<br \/>\n1 \u00bd miles South on Rd#166W<br \/>\n1 \u00be miles East on Rd #218N<br \/>\n\u00bd mile North on Rd #165W<br \/>\n2 Miles East on Lobster Road<br \/>\n2 \u00bd miles South on Rd #163W<br \/>\n4 miles East on Road #216N to PTH #10<br \/>\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a speed limit of 50 km\/h will be placed on Rd #216N from Rd \t#161W to PTH #10 and the Transportation Committee will inspect this portion of municipal \troadways with the Public Works Foreman to determine whether the road can withstand the \theavy traffic for the duration of the project or the original route agreed to on June 9th, 2015 \twill remain unchanged.<br
