Canada Day in Benito offered day long entertainment for young, old and everyone in between. The community gathered together to celebrate Canada Day with many different events and activities.

\"\"<\/a><\/br>This day started with a pancake breakfast put on by the Benito Volunteer Fire Department. <\/p>\n

Sparky, the fire department mascot – pictured (right) with Elizabeth Beehler at the bouncy castle – also made an appearance.
\n<\/br>
\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/br>There was plenty of entertainment for the kids throughout the afternoon with games, prizes, face painting, bouncy castle and dinosaur dig.
\n<\/br>
\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\n<\/br>
\n<\/br>The afternoon ball tournament was enjoyed by those participating as well as by a collection of fans.
\n<\/br>
\n<\/br>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A horseshoe tournament also took place during the afternoon.
\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a> <\/p>\n

Gymkhana was yet another afternoon event.
\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\nThe evening entertainment featured Terri and the Sticks in the Mud (right).<\/p>\n
