\nThe Council of the Town of Swan River met on Tuesday, April 21st, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor McKenzie presiding and Councilor\u2019s, Delaurier, Whyte, Sakal, Moriaux and Friesen present. <\/p>\n

Minutes:<\/p>\n

1.\tRESOLVED that the Minutes of the April 7th, 2015 regular meeting of Council be adopted as received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

2. RESOLVED that the Agenda for the April 21st, 2015 regular meeting of Council be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

\t3. RESOLVED that the accounts as follows be hereby approved for payment:
\n (1) General Accounts from Cheque No.16711 to No. 16774 for a total of $ 183,345.38.
\n (2) Payroll Account from Cheque No.3539 to No. 3546 for a total of $105,081.88.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

4. RESOLVED that the Request\/Concern Report for March 2015 be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

5. RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Works Report be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

6. RESOLVED that the Trooper Cabaret, hosted by the Westwood Inn & Louisiana Jax and being held on Saturday, July 11th, 2015 at the Swan River Centennial Arena be declared a Community Event.

7. RESOLVED that the Swan River Fire Department March 2015 Call Report be received.

8. RESOLVED that the Town of Swan River Council authorize the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Parkland Chapter, to hold the MS Walk in the Town of Swan River on Sunday, May 31st, 2015.

9. RESOLVED that the following Building Permit Applications be received:

10. RESOLVED that the Swan Valley Regional Initiative for a Strong Economy (RISE) 2015 Budget be received.

11. RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 152 (3) of The Municipal Act, Council go into Committee and close the meeting to the public.
