\"\"The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor McKenzie presiding and Councilor\u2019s, Jacobson, Delaurier, Whyte, Sakal, Moriaux and Friesen present. <\/p>\n

<\/br>Minutes:<\/p>\n

1.\tRESOLVED that the Agenda for the April 7th, 2015 regular meeting of Council be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

2.\tRESOLVED that the minutes of the March 19th, 2015 regular meeting of Council be adopted as received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

3.\tRESOLVED that Joe Mante be appointed as Interim Manager of Aquatic Services effective April 2nd, 2015 to June 26th, 2015 as per Schedule \u201cA\u201d attached.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

4.RESOLVED the Lisa Lintick\u2019s, R.C.M.P. Clerk, request for a leave of absence be hereby approved.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

5. RESOLVED that the Building Inspector be authorized to attend the Manitoba Building
\nOfficials Association Annual Spring Seminar being held in Winnipeg, MB on April 22nd and April 23rd, 2015.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

6. RESOLVED that Glen McKenzie be appointed as member of the Swan Valley Emergency Measurers District Board.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

7. RESOLVED that the letter of retirement received from Shirley Bateman be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

8. RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Works Report be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

9. RESOLVED that the following Building Permit Applications be received:
\n11\/15 – 900 Ross St – House \/Garage
\n12\/15 – 453 12th Ave N – Renovations
\n13\/15 – 811 Main St – Sign renewal
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

10. RESOLVED that Westman Communications Group\u2019s application for the installation of conduit on First Street, Second Street, Hill Avenue, Valley Road and Main Street East be hereby approved.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

11. RESOLVED that the Town of Swan River provide the Swan River Urban Forest Committee with a $300.00 annual grant to pay for incidental expenses.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

12.\tRESOLVED that the accounts as follows be hereby approved for payment:
\n(1) General Accounts from Cheque No. 16641 to No. 16710 for a total of $79,750.89.
\n(2) Payroll Account from Cheque No. 3532 to No. 3538 for a total of $103,308.69

13.\tRESOLVED that the Town of Swan River continue to sponsor the Swan Valley Employment and Training Project from June 29th, 2015 to June 30th, 2016.

14. RESOLVED that MTS application for the installation of facilities on Municipal Rights-of Way be hereby approved.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

15. RESOLVED that the March, 2015 R.C.M.P. Crime Stats Report be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

16.\tRESOLVED that the Handi Van Report for March 2015 be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

17. RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 152(3) of The Municipal Act, Council go into Committee and close the meeting to the public.

18. RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(4) of The Municipal Act this meeting be re-opened to the public.

19. RESOLVED that this regular Meeting of Council now adjourn.
