Community Futures Parkland believes in the power of communities and the individuals who live in them. We recognize that Parkland region holds vibrant communities with new ideas and proactive thinkers.<\/p>\n

Our organization supports community development and one of the ways we strive to help create community prosperity is by investing in our communities.<\/p>\n

This year will mark Community Futures\u2019 15th year of commitment to the Parkland region. During that time, $149,588.00 has been granted from CF Parkland to 68 regional and community initiatives throughout the region.<\/p>\n

The 2015 Community Projects Grant is a competitive program intended to support ideas that fall under:
\n– Tourism
\n– Events
\n– Education (e.g. entrepreneurship, financial literacy)
\n– After School Programs (preferably linked with entrepreneurship, financial literacy)<\/p>\n

Eligible applicants include:
\n– Community Service Groups,
\n– Conservation Committees,
\n– Economic Development Boards,
\n– Friendship Centers,
\n– Non-profit Community Development Groups,
\n– Schools, and Tourism Groups<\/p>\n
