<\/br>Throughout the month of October, Formo Motors has been collecting non-perishable food items for the local food bank through the We Scare hunger campaign. <\/p>\n

Initiatives have included a BBQ during their grand re-opening, collections during Spooktober Fest and a campaign through Minitonas Middle Years School. <\/p>\n

On November 4, 2014 Don Formo, Jackie Mayuk and Rebecca Popoff delivered a truckload of non-perishable items to the Swan Valley Food Bank. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A cheque in the amount of $1015.41 was also presented, representing cash donations received. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>When the final can was weighed, the total food collected topped the scales at 872.8 pounds.<\/p>\n

We Scare Hunger is an initiative of Free the Children who are also the driving force behind We Day. Ford of Canada is sponsoring We Day in all national cities.<\/p>\n

<\/br>In recognition of their outstanding efforts, Formo Motors employees Jackie Mayuk and Rebecca Popoff were selected by Ford Canada and surprised with a VIP trip to We Day in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
