\n\tRESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on June 11th, 2014 and the Special Meeting of Council held on June 25th, 2014 shall be adopted as circulated.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Financial Statement for the month ending June 30th, 2014 shall be approved as presented.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize payment of the List of Accounts numbered 8883 to 8951 amounting to $172,305.13.

\n\tWHEREAS the Rural Municipality of Minitonas has received an offer for the costs to repair municipal infrastructure, as per Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto, and;
\n\tWHEREAS the council is in agreement to the payment amount of $2149.24 as proposed by the Portage Mutual Insurance Company;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to accept the aforementioned offer and authorize the Reeve and CAO to sign the final release as per the copy attached hereto as Schedule \u2018B\u2019.

\n\tWHEREAS the RM of Minitonas has received funding under the 2013 & 2014 Municipal Road Improvement Programs and intends to proceed with obtaining quotes for the project on Rd#224N between Rd#153W & Rd#154W;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the attached Ad for Quotes shall be submitted to the Star & Times and ValleyBiz with a deadline for tenders to be set for 4:00 pm on August 11th, 2014.

\n\tWHEREAS the Province of Manitoba has offered a second intake for funding application under the Municipal Road Improvement Fund, and;
\n\tWHEREAS the RM of Minitonas Council has determined that the attached project falls under the program criteria and it would be beneficial to renew said road for better travel, public safety and to ensure the integrity of the road for the future;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to submit an application for a maximum grant in the amount of $25,000 as per the details attached hereto.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council of the RM of Minitonas does hereby approve the attached request for vacation leave.
\n\tCarried.\t<\/p>\n
9.\tW. Pacamaniuk – D. Klekta
\n\tWHEREAS there were substantial amounts of flood waters as a result of the heavy rainfall on June 27th, 2014 which was followed by additional rains and run-off waters up until July 1st, 2014 and;
\n\tWHEREAS the extreme amounts of flood waters have caused extensive damage to private property and public infrastructure in the Rural Municipality of Minitonas, and;
\n\tWHEREAS there will be significant expenses directly related to the repairs required as a result of these waters;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Rural Municipality of Minitonas requests that the Province of Manitoba \u2013 Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization provide disaster financial assistance for costs to repair damage to municipal infrastructure and private properties as applicable, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the attached Community Impact Assessment shall be submitted to EMO to provide a rough estimate of the costs to repair the damage.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 4\/2014, being a by-law of the Rural Municipality of Minitonas for the purpose of establishing, regulating and preventing fires in the municipality, shall be introduced and read a first time this 9th day of July, 2014 A.D.
