If something seems out of place, or unusual in it’s current setting. Then report it to the police.<\/p>\n
Urgent matters: Use ‘911’, or (204) 734-3454<\/p>\n
If a suspicious person – take note of:
\n– sex (male or female)
\n– race (white, black, Asian, aboriginal, or other)
\n– age
\n– height and weight
\n– hair colour and style
\n– skin tone, complexion\/imperfections
\n– speech (accent, slurred, vulgar)
\n– scars, tattoos, facial hair, glasses
\n– general appearance (dirty, well-groomed)
\n– clothing (colour, style, shoes, jewelry)<\/p>\n
If a suspicious vehicle – take note of:
\n– make (Ford, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, etc)
\n– model (Escort, Impala, Intrepid, pick-up)
\n– year
\n– colour
\n– license plate number (province)
\n– bumper stickers, damage or dents, lettering
\n– direction of travel
\n– occupants (male, female, approximate age)<\/p>\n
Why report suspicious persons \/ suspicious vehicles(?): The community provides eyes and ears for the police. Although the police cannot attend each suspicious person \/ vehicle call immediately, it will be treated on a priority basis. If it concerns personal safety, protection of property, then do report suspicious persons \/ vehicles, as it happens, . . . .<\/p>\n
