\n\tRESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meetings of the Council of the \tTown of Minitonas held on March 5th, 2014 & March 19th, 2014 shall be adopted as \tcirculated.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 1\/2014, being a By-law of the Town of \tMinitonas for the purpose of adopting a Financial Plan for the 2014 Fiscal Year \tshall be introduced and read a first time this 2nd day of April, 2014 A.D.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Public Works Report for the month of March, 2014 shall be accepted as submitted by the Town Foreman, a copy of which is attached hereto.

\n\tWHEREAS the Public Works Employee Overtime Reports have been received & \treviewed by Council;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT all applicable overtime hours \trecorded for the month of March, 2014 shall be approved and paid out with the April 15th, 2014 payroll or booked for future use as indicated on the \taforementioned reports, copies of which have been attached hereto.

\n\tWHEREAS the Town of Minitonas has applied for funding for two summer \tstudents under the Hometown Green Team Program, one position to start on May \t5th, 2014 and a second position starting on July 2nd, 2014;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the attached ad shall be placed in the \tStar & Times on April 15th, 2014 with the deadline for applications to position No. \t1 to be set as April 22nd, 2014 and the deadline for applications to position No. 2 to \tbe set as June 13th, 2014.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the attached request for special consideration of the Town \tHall Rental for the United Church Camp fundraiser shall be granted by Council.

\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council has reviewed the proposed wording for \tthe pending amalgamation plan for the Town of Minitonas, RM of Minitonas and \tthe Village of Bowsman and agree to the wording of Subsection 18(1) and 18(2) as \tattached hereto;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the municipality agrees that this \twording supports the proposed plan for the Service Areas in the Amalgamation \tPlan as submitted.

\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council has determined that, under the terms of \tBy-law No. 2\/2007, the condition of the property known as Lot 10, Block 7, Plan \t343 has become unsightly, a nuisance and possible danger to the public;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the owner of the aforementioned \tproperty will be given written notice advising them that the condition of said \tproperty must be rectified by the deadline of April 12th, 2014, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, should the condition of the property not \tbe corrected by the aforementioned date, the Minitonas Town Council shall provide \tauthorization for the work to be completed and the associated costs of said work \tshall be billed to the property owner accordingly.

\n\tWHEREAS the municipality has received correspondence from SaskEnergy \tregarding the need to correct their consent of the transfer of the Natural Gas \tFranchise Agreement to Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. rather than Manitoba Hydro, \tand;
\n\tWHEREAS Manitoba Hydro is the sole owner of Centra Gas, therefore the \tCouncil of the Town of Minitonas feels that this is an acceptable correction to the \toriginal resolution since it does not change the intent of the original resolution;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Town of Minitonas, pursuant to \tthe provisions of that Natural Gas Franchise Agreement between the Town of \tMinitonas and Swan Valley Gas Corporation, hereby consents unconditionally to \tthe assignment of the rights and obligations, as outlined within said Franchise \tAgreement, from Swan Valley Gas Corporation to Centra Gas Manitoba Inc., \teffective as of the date of approval by the Public Utilities Board of Manitoba, to the \tproposed transaction for the sale of all the assets of Swan Valley Gas Corporation \tto Centra Gas Manitoba Inc, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Town of Minitonas shall do and take \tall necessary further steps, including the execution of further documents, with \trespect to the completion of the said assignment of the Franchise Agreement.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 11:45 pm to meet again for the next \tregular meeting of Council to be held on the 16th of April, 2014 A.D. immediately \tfollowing the Financial Plan Public Hearing.
