\n \tRESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on January 28, 2014 be adopted as presented.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\n RESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular meeting held on February 11, 2014 be adopted as amended.

\nRESOLVED that By-Law #01\/14, being a By-Law to provide remuneration to the Council of the Village of Benito be read a first time.

\n \t\t\tSCOUTEN
\nRESOLVED that accounts numbered 25196 to 25243 in the amount totaling $54,559.01 be ratified as paid.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the unaudited Financial Statements to December 31, 2014 be accepted as presented.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n
7. \tZEBINSKI
\n\t \t\t\tOFFENBERGER
\nRESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize the purchase of 15 Blue Boxes from the Town of Swan River @$10\/ea. for resale to Benito residents wishing to participate in the Village Recycling Program.
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Blue Boxes will be sold at cost.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n
NOTICE TO RESCIND
\n\tNotice is hereby given that at the next meeting of Council, I, Deputy Mayor Scouten, propose to rescind Resolution #7 passed at the Regular Meeting of Council held on the 14th day of January 14, 2014.<\/p>\n
\t 8. \t\tSCHNEIDER
\n\t\tZEBINSKI
\nRESOLVED that the January\/February Animal Control Report be accepted as presented by the Animal Control Officer.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n
9.\t\tSCOUTEN
\n\t\t\tOFFENBERGER
\nWHEREAS the 2013 Audit Report for the Benito Public Water System has been received; and
\nWHEREAS the Audit Report reflects that the Public Water System in Benito has complied with the terms and conditions of the Operating License;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Audit Report as submitted by the Senior Drinking Water Officer be accepted as received.

\t10.\t\tSCHNEIDER
\n\t\t\tZEBINSKI
\nWHEREAS municipalities are obligated under The Noxious Weeds Act Section 11(1) to appoint a weed inspector in each year;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Benito appoint Donald Ellingson as Weed Inspector for the municipality for the year 2014.

11.\t\tSCOUTEN
\n\t\tOFFENBERGER
\nWHEREAS Section 250, Subsection(2), Clause(E) gives authority to municipalities to use municipal equipment to carry out private works on private property;
\nAND WHEREAS Section 252, Subsection (2) gives authority to municipalities to collect unpaid accounts in the same manner as property taxes;
\nAND WHEREAS the Village of Benito has used municipal equipment to carry out private works on private properties;
\n\t\tAND WHEREAS the said accounts are unpaid to date;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the accounts receivable as set out in Schedule \u201cA\u201d affixed hereto and totaling $687.50 be added to the respective Tax Rolls.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that we do adjourn the Regular Meeting of Council at 10:55 pm.
